That’s a wrap on 2025!

2–3 minutes

If I had to sum up 2025 in a word, it would be exhausting—but in the best way possible. While the personal side of life stayed true to form and provided its usual “shit show” moments, the professional side has been a non-stop highlight reel.

Looking back, I honestly don’t know how I squeezed it all in.

The Community & The Travel
This year was basically one long tour of the Salesforce ecosystem. Between Agentforce World Tour Sydney and heading over to San Francisco for Dreamforce, I’ve spent a lot of time on planes and in convention centers.

A massive standout for me was Agentforce World Tour Melbourne, where I was stoked to get up on the stage and talk all things Slack. Combine that with the community vibe at True Blue Blazing, and it’s been a big year for Melbourne events. I made a point to lean into both the Salesforce and Slack communities this year, hitting up as many local events as I could.

Down to the wire…
I’ve always been one for a last-minute finish, but I actually started this year’s momentum way back in January:

  • The Big One: Kicked things off strong by ticking off the Sharing and Visibility Architect certification.
  • The December Sprint: Literally in the final week of December, I managed to hit Four-Star Ranger status. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤠
  • The AI Pivot: I dove headfirst into the Agentforce hype, becoming an Agentblazer Innovator and passing the Agentforce Specialist exam (along with all the other procrastinators!) It’s been a steep learning curve, but a fun one. I can finally wear my Agentblazer hoodie!🤖

Changing Lanes
The biggest personal news is that I’m moving on. I’ve spent the last 18 months as the Salesforce Lead for a professional services firm—it’s been a great ride, but I’m ready for the next thing.

Next week, I’m starting a new chapter as a Technical Delivery Lead in a completely different industry. It feels like the right time for a fresh challenge and a chance to use everything I’ve picked up over this chaotic year.

The Verdict
2025 was a year of professional growth that I’m genuinely proud of. Life isn’t always smooth sailing, and things haven’t been perfect, but professionally? I’m ending the year on a high.

See you in 2026!
