Having entered my 3rd year in the Salesforce ecosystem, it feels like an eternity has passed since the last entry. With Christmas Shutdown and Summer school holidays here in Australia, the time has been squeezed for me. In addition, we’ve been crafting a new internal role for me in my current company. I’m pretty excited about this for my professional development and how this will help us continue to grow. More to come on that in the near future.
I did manage to record a podcast towards the end of 2022 with the team at Talent Stacker. It was fun chatting with folks I had met when I started my career pivot almost two years earlier and hearing how things had progressed.
World Tour Sydney is fast approaching March 1st, it feels like just yesterday I was jumping on a plane to Sydney and getting my first taste of the in-person Ohana. After the chaos of Dreamforce and South East Dreamin’ I’m looking forward to this one-day, one-venue event. I feel like I’m much better equipped to get the best out of the day, both learning and connecting.

I’ve also added the Slack Consultant Certificate to my skillset. This was another course I enjoyed, showing me the full power of Slack and all it can do for an Enterprise level company. I’m pretty happy to have taken on the role of Slack Administrator on our internal workspace, slowly enhancing our processes with the tool. I’ve been completing some of the Slack Skills badges along the way when situations arise and I just know there is a simpler/better way to get the task done.
