Last week I had the opportunity to attend Salesforce Live in Melbourne.
#TeamEarth
It was a great opportunity to connect and also reconnect with folks I’ve met over the last 2 years. It was also a perfect introduction for my young friend Maddy who had just completed high school, and is looking at options for her next steps. Whilst she will have an opportunity to attend University if she chooses, she’s also super interested in the opportunities a career as a Salesforce Administrator will bring her.
I’ll link here the resources I’ve shared with her to get started. It’s a pretty cool option for someone in her position, one I can only hope I would have jumped on if it had been there for me all those years ago.
The 5-Day Salesforce Challenge. It’s really this simple to get started.
The Salesforce for Everyone podcast. Best place to start.
If you do these 2 things, you will by default have created a Trailhead account and be on your way to success.
I’ll add to this to #alwaysbelearning. We watched and listened as new innovations were unveiled, including updates to Slack which I know we will love. We heard first-hand how Salesforce has changed how businesses do business for the better. I always leave these events inspired, and this was no different.
