Time to move on

1–2 minutes

So after 14 months, it’s time for me to move on from my role with Media.Monks. It’s been a truly fantastic experience and I’ve met some wonderful people who have helped me propel forward in my career.

A big part of my decision was the growth of the company I was employed by initially. It’s a natural progression for a company to merge or be bought, changing the look/feel/culture. I enjoyed the smaller company feel as opposed to the much bigger enterprise. It was a hard decision; I couldn’t help but feel guilty about leaving my projects and clients. Thankfully it was a positive experience, and who knows what the future will bring.

I’m taking a month off before I start my new position (more to come on that).

I’ve just spent 2 days in Atlanta, GA, at Southeast Dreamin. It was a fantastic learning experience and an excellent opportunity to make new connections. I also got to meet a bunch of Talent Stackers I’ve spent so much time with virtually but not in person.

Now I’m enjoying Disneyworld with my daughter before heading home next week. Lucky me!
