I’ve just realised how much time has passed since my last entry. Life is moving quickly, and my work day is super busy. My Team Lead asked me a few days ago how I felt now that I’ve completed the ramping-up stage and am working at achieving my billable target each month.
I had to think for a few minutes because what was a real stretch in the first few months now is achieved as a matter of course. His point was that I’m now contributing in a real way, making improvements for clients and completing a lot of the work without assistance. My comprehension of requirements and how to achieve the objective set has grown significantly (as expected) with exposure to different projects.
I’ve had my fill of data migration these last few weeks. My appreciation for clean data is genuine. Spending hours troubleshooting and de-duping is not fun, but it certainly gave me a better understanding of data structure and why things are done a certain way.
I’m back on the trail now, having some fun studying for the App Builder Certification. With all I’m learning, I have to stop wishing I’d started this one months ago. Super helpful stuff; I’m excited to put it to work in my day-to-day.
I’m off to build a Battle Station App!
